Geluid

Typ mmsys.cpl in uitvoerbox of ga naar Geluid in het Control panel. Selecteer het geluidschema 'geen geluiden'.

Task Manager
Kijk bij Cntrl-Alt-Del -> Taakbeheer -> Processen, welke processen op je computer draaien. Zitten er verdachte, onbekende of onnodige processen tussen, google er dan eens naar. Je kunt ook Process Explorer gebruiken ( http://download.cnet.com/Process-Explorer/3000-2094_4-10223605.html?tag=mncol ). Dat is een luxe uitvoering van het standaard Windows Taakbeheer.

iTunes

Patchen

Themes Downloaden
Mooie themes zijn te vinden op DeviantArt.com

(theme 'ElegantBlack Windows 7 Final')

Installeren
Meegeleverd zijn vaak een Explorer.exe. Deze is voor de Startbutton en gaat in je x:\Windows directory. De andere Explorerframe.dll moet in x:\Windows\System32. Handig is eerst een kopie van de originelen te maken. Om deze bestanden te vervangen moet je eerst gemachtigd zijn. Als het theme compitabel is voor windows 7 kun je het nu gebruiken. Ga naar Configuratiescherm -> Vormgeving.. -> Thema wijzigen of naar je Windows\Rescources\Themes om je theme te laden.

Met behulp van het programma Iconpackager kun je bijbehorende iconpackages installeren.
